Vanessa was 26 years old when she dies suddenly at her home in siddal.
she had been suffering with depression for a while but it finally got the better of her.
Vanessa was loved by everyone who knew her and will never be forgotton, she leaves behind mother moureen, step-dad paul, brothers darren and mark, sister-inlaw clare and neece kirsty.

Happy 33rd Birthday Vanessa. The pain don`t get any easier but the rawness is fading. Cant believe its 6 years since you left us only seems like yesterday. We will be doing the walk again for the Mental Health foundation this Saturday so would appreciate some god weather. See what you can do. We are having a fund raising event at the Hens Face in the evening as well this year.

I didnt know Vanessa for a long time, but for the short space that I did she made a big impression on me. She was such a lovely girl inside and out and used to make me laugh so much. I got to know her through working at the Halifax and a group of us went out on a few occasions. There was one time I always remember when we were all out having a chuckle it started raining and no one had an umbrella but Vanessa came prepared - with a plastic bag that she used to keep her hair dry!!! Im so sorry that she is no longer with us. I remember the last time I saw her, she didnt seem her usual self. I hope she is now at peace. I will always remember the sweet girl she was, prepared for all weathers! xx RIP xx
Happy Birthday Ness for 11th May 32 you would have been. It's five years since you left us we still love and miss you. We will be doing the yearly walk next week for the Mental Health Foundation round Ogden Water send us some good weather Ness. Love you xxxxxxxxxxx
